Danilo Medina, the president of the Dominican Republic, joined other leaders and senior executives from ERC last week in celebrating the grand opening of the company’s newest facility in San Isidro, its second location in the country.
For ERC, the facility in San Isidro, along with its other operation in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republican, is further evidence of its growing global footprint and worldwide presence on the corporate map.
ERC’s San Isidro campus will be able to house as many as 1,000 employees once fully operational. The company has committed to further expanding its presence in the Dominican Republic and continue working closely with President Medina.
“We have the best team in the business and I am proud of the broad and positive impact we’re making in the Dominican Republic,” said Kirk Moquin, the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of ERC. “We are so excited to have President Medina here with us to celebrate the grand opening of our new campus and look forward to working with him and the Dominican government for years to come.”
Along with offices in the Dominican Republic, ERC also has operations in India and South Africa, to go along with four call centers in the United States. The company has dramatically expanded its global footprint in the past two years and plans to further expand internationally.
The San Isidro campus is located in the San Isidro Free Trade Park. The Free Trade Park offers employees access to an impressive suite of amenities, including: a barber shop and beauty salon, daycare, an on-site hospital, 24/7 private security, access to public transportation, a cafeteria and even private study rooms for students.
“We want to be sure to treat all of our employees as well as possible,” said Marty Sarim, ERC’s Chief Executive Officer. “This new state-of-the-art facility will be a great workplace for our employees and our employees will do a great job servicing our customers.”
