ERC RECEIVES BEST RANKING OF ANY BPO IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
For the fifth year in a row, ERC, one of the top international BPO providers of customer experience solutions, has attained a spot in the prestigious Best Companies to Work for in the Dominican Republic. This latest edition of the award recognizes companies whose best practices, leadership, and organizational culture have placed them a step ahead of their competitors.
Weighing in at #29, ERC took home the highest ranking of any global contact center in the DR for the fifth straight year. Each year, Mercado Magazine, a business intelligence publication based in the Dominican Republic, ranks premier organizations in the country. Mercado Magazine’s Special Edition Best Companies to Work for in the Dominican Republic is out and is one of the most highly-anticipated issues of the year.
“This past year has been one of unprecedented change due to the global pandemic,” said Mike Duplessis, Chief Talent Officer of ERC. “New health and safety protocols to navigate, strict curfews, and social distancing mandates are just a few of the hurdles faced by all. Rising above these challenges and earning a spot in the Best Companies to Work for in the Dominican Republic list is a huge accomplishment by our people, for our company and community.”
Nationwide, employers who compete for the top spots await the publication of the list to see where they ranked based on the different parameters. Mercado Magazine surveys: personnel management, talent acquisition, surveying, training and development, organizational culture, work environment, and – for the first time – the measures organizations have implemented to adapt to the new normal and combat Covid-19.
The selection process involves a rigorous and thorough analysis by an external committee comprised of experts and industry leaders in Human Resources, advisers, and specialists in legal and labor relations. Participating organizations are ranked from #1 to #100 and are positioned based on three key indicators: company size based on the number of employees, employee satisfaction, and the percentile of hours staff trained.
