ERC does it again!
For the second year running, ERC, one of the top international BPO providers of customer experience solutions, has won the coveted First Coast Worksite Wellness Council’s Healthiest Companies Gold Award.
The Healthiest Companies Award recognizes organizations taking noteworthy strides to improve health and wellbeing within the workplace. Gold award winners have dedicated additional resources to ensure that their programs are being properly measured each year, they conduct an annual employee needs and interest survey, have a wellness operating plan, and strategically select programs that will address their most prevalent health risks and conditions.
The program is designed to identify key components of a well-rounded wellness program:
- Leadership Alignment
- Promoting a Healthy Work Environment and Culture
- Wellness Collaboration and Program Design
- Wellness Programs and Initiatives to Support Well-being
- Evaluating and Measuring Opportunities and Successes
Winners of this prestigious award were invited to the 13th Annual Worksite Wellness Conference and Healthiest Companies Awards Presentation virtually from the 3rd – 6th of May. Attendees were able to “mingle” amongst distinguished keynote speakers, industry leaders and wellness experts through an array of interactive sessions offered to empower organizations of all sizes to improve employee health and productivity through robust wellness program as well as positively impact the lives of their families and communities.
Some of the most noteworthy initiatives in 2020 that led to ERC winning for the second year in a row were events like the company’s weight loss challenges. The wellness market was also a success. Employees were able to purchase wellness items at half-off their list price. The ERC Employee Assistance program was also launched in 2020. The EAP is designed to help employees navigate difficult situations both at work, in their home, and while abroad. ERC hosted its first ever virtual Body. Mind. Life. Health Fair with participation from their corporate health and wellness advisors as well as benefits vendors to reintroduce ERC employees to their employee benefits.
“ERC has done it all,” said Nerica Veliz, ERC’s Employee Resource Manager. “We looked at our employees’ wellness needs and designed a program to help them through these incredibly stressful times.”
