Marty Sarim, the Chief Executive Officer of ERC, charged the members of the company’s Senior Leadership Team with an ambitious goal for 2020 — do not be afraid to keep making mistakes and to keep shooting for success.
Sarim addressed the Senior Leadership Team during a series of meetings held in Florida during mid-December. The objective was to discuss the results from 2019 and to chart a strategic plan for the company heading in 2020. ERC has made tremendous strides in the past few years, in large part because the company is not afraid to take chances — calculated and well-researched chances.
“Shooters shoot, and you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take,” Sarim said about his message for 2020. “Not all of the shots will go in, but if you never shoot, you’ll never score.”
Along with insights from Sarim and an emotional recounting of the company’s history from co-founder Kirk Moquin, the SLT meetings featured presentations from many different company departments and offices from around the world. The company continues to expand into new countries around the world and the plan is for that aggressive growth to continue in 2020.
Moquin made sure to highlight the perseverance and determination of ERC employees to help grow the company from its humble beginnings to where it is today. And both Sarim and Moquin emphasized the continued importance of all ERC employees to never lose the sense of community that has been a hallmark of the company since it was founded. Along with its impressive business growth, 2019 also marked a year of a continued dedication to helping others in need and to serve the communities ERC is in.
Technology will continue to be a competitive differentiator for the company moving forward, Sarim said. From deploying an artificial intelligence-driven virtual agent to other innovations in the pipeline, technology has helped ERC become what it is today and will help shape the company’s vision for the future.
“Having reflected on our continued growth and global expansion, the sky is literally the limit for us, and I couldn’t be more excited and fired up to bring it in 2020,” Sarim said
